EXPLORING IN CONNECTICUT

Text Box:

The EMS Educational Foundation would like to welcome Connecticut’s EMS Explorers to the 2007 EMS Conference. With over fifteen CT. EMS Service Providers charting EMS Explorer Posts throughout Connecticut the Conference invites the young adult Explorers to this years conference. You have been invited and selected to attend this educational conference for a few reasons.

The organizers understand the importance of education to both the youth of the state that are examining the career choices within the field of pre-hospital emergency medicine, the importance of mentorship from all adults within EMS, the existing camaraderie among the people within EMS and the opportunity to add to your long list of community service that the Explorers have been providing within their communities.

Developing ongoing programs within EMS service providers goes well beyond maintaining community service within each of the communities throughout Connecticut. You are paving the way for future generations of EMS Professionals.

It is the goal of the conference organizers to do it’s part in aiding all service providers in developing these type of youth programs to promote EMS within the state, provide for on going training and developmental opportunities for the future MRT’s, EMT’s and paramedics that will continue to make up EMS in Connecticut.

EMS Service providers that do not already have a youth Explorer Post can also gather additional information about establishing an Explorer Post at your agency at this years Conference.

To begin researching this topic, you can go to www.learning-for-life.org for more information.

With this said, We welcome EMS service providers and Explorers themselves to share in the conference’s opportunities. Explorers and Advisors are welcome in posting their communications on this web site or contacting John Gopoian @ johng@huntersamb.com for more information in participating in this year’s conference.
