CEU Letters - March 2010



CEU’s are being e-mailed or snail mailed at last.  If you have any sessions missing please e-mail Andrew Laibrandt, Jr. and copy Paul Winfield Smith contact addresses are on the web site.   A copy of the 2010 program book  will be provided on the website for attendees to research the session they attended.


READ CAREFULLY


The credits derived from your attendance to any of the sessions at the Annual Educational Seminar; Emergency Medical Services: “A Challenged System” is at the discretion of your local, regional or state medical director(s) documentation process or policy.  The acceptance of any Continuing Education Credit is entirely within the judgment of your local process.  EMS: ED/Sem will send you a copy of your session attendance record.  This notification will be sent four (4) to six (6) weeks after the conference/seminar.  It is then your responsibility to present this record to your sponsor hospital(s) Medial Director.  In the case of Emergency Medical Services-Instructor rectification, you will need to present the Connecticut State Department of Public Health the documentation in the form and manner they require.  The Department has agreed to grant ne (1) hour of a credit for each hour spent in a session each day.

Massachusetts and New York Continuing Education Credit for the Sessions of the conference have been applied for in the manner they require.

NOTE:  If you are a facilitator at any session be sure to scan your badge to get your credit. We will NOT notify any entities regarding your attendance.  If for any reason you do not receive credit for a session you attended or there is any other question regarding your credit(s), provide the following information:  your name, address, list of sessions attended and day or date attended.

Go to the conference web site at http://www.emsedsem.org and follow the directions. 

Important:
Credit for any session will only be received if your NAME BADGE is scanned when you exit the room at the end of the session or the code ticket with your name and scan code. If you leave the room for any reason during the session, you must make sure your NAME BADGE is scanned when leaving and again when you come back into the room. If you are absent from any session for the accumulation of more than ten (10) minutes, you will forfeit your credit for the session.
